Answer:
1. Many of the organizations work with the large amounts of data. Data are the basic values or facts. And are organized in database. The information actually consists of data that has been organized to help to answers the questions and also to solve problems. It is defined as the software that help to organize and analyze the data. So here the purpose is to turn raw data into useful information, that can be used for decision making in an organization.
2. The example of each one:
- Qualitative is information about qualities. Example for this is the softness of a cat. Other than that is, the color of the sky.
- Quantitative is information about quantities. Example for this is the age of the our car.
- Primary is data collected by the investigator (himself/herself) for a specific purpose. Example for this is data collected by a student for his/her thesis or research project.
- Secondary is data collected by someone else for some other purpose (but being utilized by the investigator for another purpose) Example for this is census data being used to analyze the impact of education on career choice and earning.
